You will pass abeam and to the south of Jessie Gap. It is a good idea to note the location of Jessie Gap on your VTC as ATC often refers to this point to assist with visual navigation. It is almost four miles east of Emily Gap, and lies where the prominent Ross Highway curves in very close to the range. Do not confuse the two gaps.
Once you have crossed the Ross Highway, continue following VFR Route 3 to Mount Undoolya, the last peak before a break in the range at Undoolya Gap.
Be aware that you are still within the DLL 3500ft step here and should also keep a good lookout for opposite direction traffic inbound to Alice Springs on VFR Route 3.
