After departure, track 239 degrees to the Gaol Water Tower. En route to the prison, you will be able to see the scattered buildings of the Brewer Industrial Estate, out to your left, on the Central Australian Railway line, and marked on your VTC.
The prison is the junction point of three of the VFR Routes to and from the south-west.

The water tower is located on the north-eastern corner of the easily identified prison on the western side of the Stuart Highway.
From the prison, turn onto a track of 261 degrees. In the distance on your right, you will be able to see the Pine Gap facility, R215, which is shown on your chart. This is an RA3 restricted area, into which a clearance is never available.

Track direct to Owen Springs, a cluster of farm buildings, a water tank and a long shed located on the eastern side of the Hugh River.
Once clear of controlled airspace, monitor Melbourne Centre on 119.8.
