The prominent cement works and Wickham Point Gas Tank en route will help you with visual navigation as you track over water towards Channel Island.
Keep a good lookout at all times around this waypoint, as it is a well-used reporting point for helicopters as well as fixed-wing aircraft.
The gas tank and power station on Channel Island make it an easily recognisable landmark.

From Channel Island, follow VFR Route 5 to the south-west, as marked on your VTC, to Southport Road. This is a prominent east-west road en route to Bynoe Harbour.

Bynoe Harbour is the end of VFR Route 5.
Ensure you have checked the status of the various restricted areas south of Bynoe Harbour before you take up your desired onward track. Monitor Brisbane Centre 118.15 when clear of controlled airspace.
