VFR Route 10 is the most direct route if you are arriving from Halls Creek or Yuendumu.
ATC recommends that, irrespective of your altitude, you contact Alice Tower, 118.3, at 45-50NM with your inbound details.
Enter via the approach point of Abeam Kunoth. There is nothing much here to identify the spot, so look for the relationship between the sealed Tanami Road, the tiny Greentree Dam a mile to the south, and the Kunoth Bore on the southern side of the road.
En route to Simpsons Gap, VFR Route 10 follows a track of 124 degrees.
You may be able to see the radio receiving station marked on your VTC, out to the north-east as you track towards Simpsons Gap.
