This is the most common departure to the south, where you will track 135 degrees to the training area. Take up the 135 degree track from the downwind leg when departing from runway 28. Do not climb above the departure altitude of 1000ft until you are clear of the zone boundary.
This track will guide you between the two inbound reporting points of Target and Park Ridge water tower. Refer to the ERSA for specific departure procedures.
This track will also keep you clear of the Greenbank restricted areas R633A, surface to 2000ft and R633B, 2000ft to 3500ft.
Remain at 1000ft and on the Archerfield tower frequency until you have passed the Logan Motorway where you can start a climb to not above 3500ft.
If you wish to continue tracking south-east, be aware of the Gold Coast control steps around Coolangatta just south of Southport. Traffic density is high in this area due to scenic and transiting coastal RPT flights into Coolangatta.
